Scope and Purpose:

We are seeking a Junior International Marketing Associate to join our growing international team at our Corporate Houston office. Our Junior International Marketing Associate will provide administrative and marketing support to the International Marketing team by assisting with agent communications, marketing initiatives, training coordination, and day-to-day departmental activities.

This role is in office at our Houston location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team with daily administrative and operational activities.
  • Respond to agent inquiries and provide timely assistance with marketing-related requests.
  • Assist with agent contracting, onboarding, and related documentation.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Company's products and distribution channels.
  • Coordinate and schedule agent trainings, webinars, meets, and events.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, marketing materials, and sales support documents.
  • Create and distribute newsletters and other agent communications.
  • Develop ideas and content for social media, digital marketing, and agent outreach campaigns.
  • Research industry trends and identify relevant content for agent communications.
  • Maintain marketing databases, distribution lists, and communication records.
  • Assist with special marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in International Business, Marketing, or in a related field; insurance industry knowledge preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bilingual, fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
  • 0 to 3 years of marketing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Computer literate; demonstrates proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
  • Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and high accuracy is expected.

Travel Requirements:

This position would not require any travel.
