The role focuses on developing scalable backend solutions, improving system reliability, and contributing to the evolution of high-performance distributed services. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Building reliable, high-performance systems capable of supporting large-scale workloads with low latency.
• Writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code following engineering best practices.
• Developing reusable components and services while contributing to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
• Optimizing backend systems for scalability, availability, and performance.
• Troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions.
• Improving system reliability through monitoring, logging, testing, observability, and operational best practices.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
• Participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvements across engineering practices and development processes.

The ideal candidate brings strong backend engineering expertise, experience with distributed systems, and the ability to build reliable solutions at scale. Required qualifications and skills include:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with backend technologies such as JavaScript, Go, Java, Python, C#, or similar technologies, with the ability and willingness to work extensively with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and scalable application design.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Knowledge of caching strategies, asynchronous processing, and message queue systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, modern software development practices, and agile methodologies.
• Experience using observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Sentry, ELK, or similar solutions.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and clean code practices.
• Ability to independently design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach to working across teams.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience building high-scale SaaS products.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar distributed systems.
• Experience optimizing backend platforms for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
