Team Lead Accountant-Indianapolis IN-Onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana at INFO ORIGIN INC

Seeking an experienced Accountant/Team Lead to reconcile and close grant-funded projects within PeopleSoft and Euna. This role will lead project tracking efforts, perform financial reconciliations, audit historical transactions, process journal entries, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile grants and projects to closure in PeopleSoft and Euna.
• Audit historical project activity and correct financial discrepancies.
• Process journal entries and revenue transactions.
• Review grant awards, funding requirements, and financial data.
• Track project status and maintain reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with finance teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Request project closures upon successful reconciliation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent accounting experience.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting/auditing experience.
• 3+ years of PeopleSoft experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Government accounting experience.
• Audit experience.
• Experience with Euna Financial & Grants software.
• State government accounting experience.
