Job Title: HR Recruiter
Schedule: Full-time, 100% onsite
Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours based on business needs
Hours: 40 hours per week
Overview
The HR Recruiter is responsible for supporting recruitment, candidate coordination, pre-employment screening, onboarding, and related HR administrative activities. This role supports a smooth hiring and onboarding process for candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and HR partners in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Candidate Coordination
- Support recruitment for hourly, administrative, technical, and professional positions.
- Review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate next steps with hiring managers.
- Schedule phone, virtual, and onsite interviews with candidates and interview panels.
- Manage candidate communication, including confirmations, reminders, logistics, and follow-ups.
- Post, update, monitor, and close jobs in ADP and external platforms.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, hiring statuses, interview notes, and recruitment trackers.
- Prepare interview packets, scorecards, and coordinate onsite interview logistics.
- Provide regular hiring updates to HR, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
Background Check & Pre-Employment Screening Support
- Initiate and track background checks, drug screens, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Follow up with candidates and vendors to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain required documentation and escalate delays or issues as needed.
- Confirm pre-employment completion before onboarding and start dates.
Onboarding Support
- Support onboarding by coordinating start dates, required documents, and pre-hire communication.
- Assist with onboarding materials, new hire packets, orientation documents, and HR forms.
- Track onboarding task completion in ADP or other HR systems.
- Partner with HR, training, safety, IT, security, and hiring managers to ensure first-day readiness.
- Support orientation logistics, attendance tracking, and onboarding documentation.
Career Fair & Recruitment Event Support
- Assist with job fairs, career fairs, hiring events, and campus recruiting events.
- Prepare event materials, sign-in sheets, flyers, QR codes, and candidate tracking documents.
- Represent the company professionally and support post-event candidate follow-up.
Temp-to-Permanent Conversion Support
- Track temporary employee conversion eligibility, documentation, and approval status.
- Coordinate conversion meetings with HR, hiring managers, and agency partners.
- Support HRIS updates and communication related to temp-to-permanent transitions.
General HR Administrative Support
- Support recruitment reporting, headcount tracking, onboarding tracking, and hiring activity updates.
- Maintain trackers, prepare documents, support HR communications, and assist with invoice submissions.
- Respond to routine candidate, new hire, and employee inquiries professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all HR policies, company procedures, and compliance requirements.
Key Requirements & Competencies
- Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 1–2 years of recruitment, onboarding, HR coordination, staffing, or administrative experience preferred.
- High-volume recruiting, manufacturing staffing, or agency coordination experience is a plus.
- Strong organization, scheduling, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open roles, onboarding tasks, and changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency required, including maintaining trackers, updating reports, filtering data, using formulas, and organizing hiring information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ATS/HRIS systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, or similar platforms preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Reliable, responsive, and able to work onsite full-time.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
