Our Kentucky division, located in Mount Sterling seeks a Maintenance Electrician.
Summary
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all production related equipment including installation, modification, repair and preventative maintenance with emphasis on electrical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- PLC troubleshooting/programming for Control Logix platform using Factory Talk software
- HMI troubleshooting/programming including installation, wiring and setup
- Troubleshoot and wire low voltage and high voltage systems, including electrical panel controls
- Experience with safety devices such as light curtains and door interlocks
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
- Assist with equipment overhauls / upgrades
- Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to equipment failure.
- To check overall condition and operation of equipment on an ongoing and regular basis.
- To ensure proper documentation and information is recorded daily, including but not limited to production equipment.
- To ensure that all plant equipment has adequate spare parts.
- Take active part in training and helping others as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams as required.
- Wear required safety equipment and observe proper safe working practices and OSHA adherence to any and all regulations.
- Keep work area and equipment clean at all times.
- Accurate recording of time including time-clock, job activities, and other data entry.
- Regular and punctual attendance at work.
- Compliance with relevant policies, procedures and instructions, including Code of Conduct.
- Work flexible hours depending on business needs and work OT as needed
Qualifications, Education, Experience
- 5 years experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
