This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Head of GSI Partnerships, Asia Pacific based in India.

This is a senior, high-impact leadership role focused on building and scaling strategic alliances with major Global System Integrators across the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for shaping the regional partner ecosystem, driving co-sell revenue, and expanding market penetration through deep executive relationships within top-tier GSIs. The role blends strategy and execution, requiring both visionary leadership and hands-on deal involvement in complex enterprise environments. You will act as a “player-coach,” leading a growing team while directly influencing key partnerships and revenue outcomes. A strong focus will be placed on enabling GSIs to successfully deliver modern data and AI solutions, particularly around graph-based intelligence and emerging GenAI use cases. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how advanced data platforms are adopted across large-scale enterprises in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of GSI partnerships across the region, ensuring strong alignment between partner ecosystems and enterprise sales objectives. You will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive GSI partnership strategy for India and the broader Asia Pacific region
  • Build, scale, and maintain executive-level relationships within major Global System Integrators across multiple organizational layers (executive, practice, and delivery)
  • Lead, hire, and mentor a growing team of partner managers, defining KPIs and driving a high-performance, results-oriented culture
  • Drive co-sell pipeline generation and partner-influenced revenue in close collaboration with direct sales teams
  • Enable GSIs through technical evangelism, certifications, and training programs focused on modern data, analytics, and GenAI solutions
  • Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and Centers of Excellence teams to build repeatable, industry-specific solutions
  • Own governance, reporting, and quarterly business reviews with GSI executive stakeholders, tracking pipeline, revenue impact, and partner success metrics
Requirements:

This role requires a seasoned partnerships leader with deep enterprise software experience and strong credibility in complex, matrixed environments. You should bring:

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic alliances, partner management, or business development within enterprise SaaS, cloud, or data platforms
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing small teams in a “player-coach” capacity
  • Proven relationships and established credibility with senior stakeholders in major Indian GSIs
  • Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), data platforms, analytics, and enterprise AI/LLM landscapes
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale co-sell motions and influence multi-million-dollar enterprise deals
  • Strong executive presence with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, global, and matrixed organizations
  • MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification is highly preferred
Benefits:
  • Competitive executive compensation package aligned with senior leadership responsibilities
  • Performance-based incentives tied to revenue impact and partner success metrics
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a high-growth GSI partnerships function in a strategic region
  • Remote-friendly role based in India with regional/global collaboration exposure
  • Strong career growth potential within a fast-scaling global technology organization
  • Exposure to cutting-edge work in graph technology, data platforms, and enterprise AI innovation
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and innovation-driven culture focused on learning and impact
