GCM Relationship Manager III

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a GCM Relationship Manager III based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of complex Global Capital Markets client relationships, combining high-touch client servicing with deep operational and transactional oversight.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end administration of assigned GCM accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless execution across all activities.
The position plays a critical role in supporting transaction structuring, documentation review, and coordination with legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
You will act as the primary client-facing representative, building strong relationships with corporate clients, advisors, and internal partners.
The role requires balancing relationship management with rigorous control, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence.
You will also contribute to business growth by supporting new opportunities, fee structuring, and client expansion initiatives.
This is a highly collaborative, detail-driven role within a fast-paced capital markets environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily administration of assigned Global Capital Markets (GCM) client accounts, ensuring accurate setup, execution, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, advisors, and external partners to support transaction execution.
  • Review, analyze, and support negotiation of legal and operative documentation related to client transactions and account structures.
  • Monitor operational systems and account activity to identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues where necessary to legal, compliance, or risk teams.
  • Execute account administration tasks including cash flow processing, fee billing, reporting, and tickler management with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support deal structuring and closing activities by collaborating with sales teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in client meetings, transaction closings, and presentations, ensuring effective documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to identify new business opportunities and support account growth.
  • Monitor receivables and coordinate with billing teams to ensure timely fee collection and financial accuracy.
  • Contribute to internal projects, process improvements, and control enhancements to strengthen operational efficiency and risk management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of client service experience within Global Capital Markets, trust services, or a related financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, corporate structures, and capital markets operations.
  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex legal and transactional documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-risk environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, reporting tools, and standard business software.
  • Ability to calculate and interpret financial metrics such as interest, commissions, percentages, and fees.
  • Experience in supervisory or team leadership roles is a plus.
