Pepco Sales is a Manufacturers Representative Agency serving residential and commercial markets for new construction, repair and remodel. We operate in TX, OK, AR, LA, and NM. In addition to the traditional outsourced sales agency model, we also distribute goods from over 100,000 sq. ft. of distribution space throughout Texas operating as both a master distributor to the wholesale markets and as an outsourced DC for various manufacturers.

Summary:The Accounting Clerk position is responsible for the day to day processing of financial transactions in the organization. Professionalism and attention to detail will ensure that processes are completed correctly so we can serve our customers, clients and other stakeholders in a timely and error free manner.
Reports To: Accounting ManagerFLSA Status: Non-ExemptDepartment: AccountingLocation: Pepco Dallas, in office.Duties and Responsibilities:The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of daily financial transactions, including data entry, invoice handling, payment tracking, commissions and record maintenance. A typical day involves working closely with internal departments to ensure customer and vendor invoices are current and error-free, supporting smooth operations and prompt service to customers and vendors. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability, with accountability maintained through accuracy benchmarks and adherence to deadlines. Over time, the Accounting Clerk will contribute to more complex financial reporting and analysis, supporting the company’s growth by maintaining clean financial data and adapting to new systems or processes as the organization evolves.

To succeed at this role you will need:High school diploma or GED required, associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred, 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems), proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, strong data entry skills with high accuracy, ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion, legal authorization to work in the United States.
