Supplier Quality Control Analyst Sr. (Sunnyvale, CA)
This position will support various projects as a Supplier Quality Analyst. The Supplier Quality (SQ) Analyst is responsible for assuring contracted material and accompanying documentation conforms to Purchase Order (PO) requirements.
The SQ Analyst interprets part description and Purchase Order data to determine requirements, selects the appropriate inspection plan, then performs and defines hardware inspection.
SQ Analyst duties include:
- Analyzing specifications and certifications for conformity
- Developing and executing inspection plans
- Devising and implementing quality procedures
- Communicating technical details, both verbally and in writing, with engineering, suppliers and program managers
- Recognizing and resolving emergent quality issues
- Other duties as assigned
This position is on-site in Sunnyvale, California and may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, quality analysis, material inspection or operations
- Previous experience interpreting contractual requirements, manufacturing drawings, military or commercial specifications and test reports
- Experience in using precision measuring tools
- Proficient in MS-Office and related software
Preferred:
- Previous experience with Manufacturing Resources and Planning databases such as Microsoft Projects and workflow management
- Proficiency in inspection of concentrated disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, materials, valves
- Previous experience with NDT methods and inspection criteria
- Trade school experience, a technical degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with quality systems ISO 9001, AS 9100 or similar.
