- Review, analyze, and document the financial and accounting implications of complex carrier agreements, including security deposits, minimum commitments, and volume-based pricing tiers.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing complex accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations while ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
- Provide meaningful analysis of key business drivers and support the accounting team in maintaining accurate and efficient close processes.
- Own monthly P&L and Balance Sheet fluctuation analyses for carrier cost accounts, identifying anomalies and explaining significant movements to leadership.
- Investigate billing discrepancies and analyze margins at the route and carrier level to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strengthen internal controls by ensuring compliance with SOX requirements, maintaining accounting policy documentation, and supporting external audit activities.
- Serve as a key accounting contact for auditors and provide clear documentation and explanations related to carrier cost accounting.

- Collaborate with finance, operations, data, and technology teams to build scalable solutions that improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Continuously improve reconciliation, reporting, and data-analysis processes through automation and advanced analytical techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly quantitative field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting experience with exposure to a fast-growing technology, telecommunications, or CPaaS environment.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, operational month-end close processes, accrual accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large, complex, and non-linear billing datasets.
- Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools, such as Alteryx, UiPath, Gemini, NotebookLM, or comparable technologies, with a demonstrated ability to build practical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when working with ambiguous, messy, or complex operational data.
- Strong ownership mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to independently identify issues and drive them through to resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting matters and variance drivers to non-finance stakeholders.
- CPA, Chartered Accountant, or local equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience with carrier relationships, telecommunications accounting, or high-volume, usage-based vendor structures is advantageous.
- Experience with enterprise financial systems such as Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, Zuora, or BlackLine is a plus.
- Experience using SQL, Python, advanced data visualization, or other analytical technologies to automate reconciliations and reporting is desirable.
- Comfortable working remotely with globally distributed teams and traveling occasionally for project or team meetings.
- Remote-first work model based in India, with eligibility across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Delhi.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and local market conditions.
- Generous paid time off and leave programs.
- Parental and wellness leave to support personal and family wellbeing.
- Healthcare benefits, with offerings varying by location.
- Retirement savings program and additional location-specific benefits.
- Opportunities to work with modern AI, automation, data, and financial technology tools.
- High-impact role with strong exposure to cross-functional and global business operations.
