Job Description
We have one (1) opening on 3rd shift with starting rate of $18.00 per hour.
Hours are 10:50pm through 7:00am, no Saturday or Sunday nights
3rd shift runs Monday night through Saturday morning.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position is responsible for running various injection molding machines to produce a quality product within the production standards that will be shipped to the end consumer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain machine cycle time efficiency by packing at the established production rate
Verifies counts and weights through use of tally sheet, mental count, weight or counting scale
Inspect items and sort by means of visual inspection to ensure conformance to specifications
May need to manually load and remove product or tooling during machine cycle
Trim excess product from molded parts using clipper, knife or deburring tool
Packs product in accordance with job instructions
Adheres to internal carton labeling requirements
Must be able to lift and neatly place cartons (up to 40 lbs) on wood pallet
Ability to run multiple machines to optimize labor efficiency
Maintains cleanliness of equipment and work area
Provide accurate production and scrap reporting during shift
Communicate work process and issues to incoming shift or break relief
Completes required quality checks:
- taring and monitoring weight or counting scale
- specific fixturing or water cooling methods to control warpage or distortion
- packing requirements, pieces per carton, packing configuration, layers, pallet type
- part appearance compared to retain samples and internal quality documents
Communicate with QC Inspectors, Team Leaders and Managers when issues arise
OTHER DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
- High School diploma or GED preferred
