Senior Manager, Marketing Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations based in the United States.

This strategic leadership role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, revenue operations, and data, driving the systems and processes that fuel sustainable business growth. You will oversee marketing operations infrastructure, automation initiatives, and AI-powered workflows that connect marketing performance to pipeline generation, revenue outcomes, and customer lifecycle success. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will transform data into actionable insights while championing innovation through automation and AI adoption. Accountabilities:
  • Define and execute the overall marketing operations strategy, ensuring alignment between marketing investments and business growth objectives.
  • Build, optimize, and manage the marketing technology ecosystem, including marketing automation platforms, CRM integrations, and go-to-market systems.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Data teams to improve funnel performance, operational efficiency, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Identify, implement, and scale AI-driven workflows and automation initiatives that enhance productivity, reporting, campaign execution, and lead management.
  • Develop and maintain scalable frameworks for segmentation, lead scoring, attribution, customer journeys, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Ensure data integrity, system reliability, governance, and operational scalability across marketing platforms.
  • Create reporting structures, dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks that provide visibility into marketing effectiveness, revenue impact, and forecasting.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on experimentation, process optimization, and operational excellence.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing Marketing Operations team while establishing best practices and documentation standards.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Growth Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, or a related function within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep expertise with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems, particularly Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, lead management, attribution modeling, funnel optimization, and revenue operations.
  • Proven experience connecting marketing programs and initiatives to measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Revenue Operations, Data, and executive stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience implementing AI-powered workflows, automation strategies, or operational transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with customer engagement, analytics, data warehouse, and experimentation tools is considered a plus.
