Langhorne, PA | Full-Time (10-Month Benefits-Eligible) | Starting at $42,500 (commensurate with licensure and experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Based Therapist (Clinician) to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services and behavioral health support to students within school and community-based settings, helping children and families build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and access the resources they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Services & Client Care

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and gather relevant client history to evaluate strengths, needs, and functioning and inform treatment planning.
  • Develop collaborative, individualized treatment plans that address behavioral health, emotional, social, family, and substance use needs.
  • Provide individual and family counseling utilizing evidence-based interventions and established clinical practices.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services during emergency situations.
  • Support clients through case management activities, including referrals and coordination with educational, behavioral health, medical, housing, financial, legal, and community-based resources.
  • Facilitate discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and follow-up services to promote continuity of care and long-term success.

School-Based & Community Collaboration

  • Deliver therapeutic services across assigned school-based and satellite locations throughout Bucks County.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload that may include students in grades K–12 and, as assigned, support a small outpatient caseload.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with school personnel, community partners, and external service providers to support integrated care and positive outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison among the agency, schools, families, and community organizations to strengthen access to services and coordinated support.

Documentation, Compliance & Professional Practice

  • Complete accurate, timely, and organized clinical documentation, treatment records, and required reports in accordance with agency policies, contractual requirements, and professional standards.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements, including those related to specialized programs and services.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and quality improvement activities to support professional growth and service excellence.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development to strengthen clinical knowledge, cultural responsiveness, and evidence-based practice.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities and other duties assigned.

Intake & Access to Services

  • Provide intake support, information, and referral services to ensure clients and families receive timely access to agency programs and community resources.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program or a Master’s degree in a related behavioral health, counseling, healthcare, or human services field from an accredited graduate program.
  • Licensed and unlicensed clinicians welcome (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or license-eligible candidates).
  • Counseling internship, practicum, or related experience preferred, ideally serving children, adolescents, families, or populations with behavioral health and/or substance use concerns.
  • Strong skills in assessment, crisis intervention, clinical writing, communication, and culturally responsive care.
  • Knowledge of community-based health and human service systems and ability to connect clients and families with appropriate resources preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical aptitude and readiness for continued professional growth through prior employment, internships, or supervised experience.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and respect for client autonomy.
