Grinder Second Shift in Aiken, South Carolina at Columbia Vehicle Group

Columbia Vehicle Group (CVG) designs and manufactures industry-leading electric vehicles for commercial, industrial, and retail markets. We're growing our second shift Fabrication team and looking for dependable people who take pride in quality work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Grind, blend, and finish weld seams on vehicle frames and fabricated parts
Remove spatter, slag, burrs, and sharp edges, and prep parts for paint and powder coat
Use angle grinders, die grinders, belt sanders, and other finishing tools
Inspect parts for defects and work closely with our welders to keep production moving
Keep a clean, safe work area and follow all CVG safety rules

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma or GED
Grinding or metal finishing experience is a plus, but not required
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and a willingness to work overtime as needed
Ability to stand for the full shift, lift up to 50 lbs., and handle vibrating power tools

SCHEDULE AND PAY
Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
$1.00 per hour shift differential
