Systems Integration Engineer
Location: Remote

About the Role
We're looking for a highly technical, hands-on Systems Integration Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize the systems, automations, and integrations that power a fast-growing digital business.
This is a builder role not a management position. You'll be responsible for developing AI-powered workflows, integrating SaaS platforms through APIs, maintaining web properties, and creating scalable automation systems that improve operational efficiency. What You'll Do
AI Automation & Workflow Development

• Build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered workflows using modern AI platforms.
• Design and implement automation pipelines using Make, Zapier, and custom integrations.
• Identify manual processes that can be automated to improve efficiency.
• Continuously optimize workflows to increase scalability and productivity.

Systems Integration

• Develop and maintain integrations across multiple SaaS platforms using APIs and native connectors.
• Build custom data flows between business applications.
• Monitor integration health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Debug integration failures and resolve technical issues quickly.

Web Development & E-commerce

• Develop and maintain WooCommerce and Shopify websites.
• Implement front-end and back-end improvements.
• Support landing page development and website optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors when necessary.

Data & Reporting Systems

• Build automated reporting pipelines connecting CRM, e-commerce, and marketing platforms.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting systems used by leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy across integrated platforms.
• Improve reporting automation and operational visibility.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Systems Integration, Full-Stack Development, Software Engineering, or a related technical role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs.
• Hands-on experience building automation workflows using Make (Integromat), Zapier, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with WooCommerce and/or Shopify.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Availability to work during U.S. Pacific Time (PST) business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI-powered workflows using platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Viktor, Helix, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Go High Level (GHL), CRM automation, or marketing automation.
• Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), UX/UI, and A/B testing.
• Experience working with sales funnels and customer journey optimization.
• Background supporting e-commerce or consumer product businesses.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, ShipStation, Omnisend, or similar operational platforms.
