Job Summary

We are looking for a Blasterto join the Custom Metalcraft team. This position is responsible for media blasting stainless steel products.

Essential Job Functions

The job duties listed below are the fundamental job duties of this position. Failure to perform any one of these duties would substantially alter the nature of the position.

• Load stainless steel product into the blast booth.
• Wear safety gear including vented and cooled PPE jumpsuit and helmet.
• Ensure good quality parts are being produced
• Follow instructions on the job order sheet , correct any errors and report to supervisor or lead
• Organize and clean work area following each shift
• Stock productive materials appropriately
• Successful use of blasting tools, including hose and material to be reloaded intermittently during process.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and peripheral vision. The employee must be able to hold and move the media hose during the blast process. The employee must be able to use a shovel and reload the blaster multiple times during each shift.
