Responsibilities

Assemble industrial valves, subassemblies and mechanical components according to established procedures, technical drawings and work orders
Prepare, position, adjust and fasten parts using hand tools, pneumatic or power tools and assembly equipment
Perform visual and dimensional checks to ensure assemblies meet quality standards
Use measuring instruments and testing equipment, as needed, to validate product operation and leak-tightness
Clean, deburr, identify and prepare parts or finished products for the next production or shipping steps
Complete required documentation related to inspections, tests, traceability and work performed

Your profile

High school diploma (DES). Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in a technical field of mechanical manufacturing (an asset)
A minimum of three (3) years in the 4-02 class
Must be able to read, understand and interpret technical assembly and testing procedures
Must be able to perform non-actuator valve testing, read measuring instruments and test equipment
Must be able to write reports and maintain records
May be required to perform any other duties related to the position
Training : Rigging and lifting
A practical and/or theoretical test may be required of candidates
