Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect, Data and AI in United States.
This role is focused on designing, prototyping, and demonstrating cutting-edge data and AI solutions that modernize critical government digital services. You will act as a technical architect and builder, turning early-stage ideas into working proofs-of-concept that showcase how modern AI, data platforms, and cloud-native architectures can improve public sector systems. Working closely with growth, delivery, and government-facing teams, you will help shape technical narratives that influence new opportunities and ongoing programs. The environment is fast-paced and highly exploratory, requiring comfort with ambiguity, rapid prototyping, and continuous learning across complex federal data domains. Your work will directly support solutions that impact essential public services such as healthcare and social programs. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where architecture, engineering, and storytelling intersect.
- Design and build working proofs-of-concept that demonstrate modern data and AI capabilities for federal government use cases.
- Develop demo environments using public sector datasets and simulate real-world system behaviors.
- Prototype advanced AI solutions including LLM-based workflows, RAG systems, agentic architectures, and data quality automation.
- Collaborate with growth and delivery teams to shape technical win themes, support go/no-go decisions, and inform proposal strategies.
- Participate in customer-facing discussions, industry events, and technical deep dives with government stakeholders.
- Produce architectural artifacts, diagrams, white papers, and documentation that clearly communicate solution design and rationale.
- Support ongoing delivery programs by identifying opportunities for innovation and cross-project learning.
- Serve as a technical advisor and hands-on architect during discovery sprints and short-term engagements.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, or AI/ML Engineer in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience building AI-powered systems, including LLM applications, RAG pipelines, or machine learning models.
- Deep understanding of modern data architecture, cloud platforms, and data engineering principles.
- Ability to rapidly learn complex federal or enterprise data domains and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience engaging with clients or stakeholders in pre-sales, discovery, or solution design contexts.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent documentation skills, including architecture diagrams and decision rationales.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments focused on rapid prototyping and experimentation.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to pass a Public Trust background check, with all work performed within the United States.
- Competitive annual salary range: $120,000 – $150,000.
- 100% employer-paid Gold-tier health insurance premiums.
- Annual company profit-sharing program.
- Fully remote work within the United States (no return-to-office requirement).
- Flexible, people-first culture that supports work-life balance.
- Opportunity to work on mission-critical government systems impacting vulnerable populations.
- Strong emphasis on learning, experimentation, and cutting-edge AI innovation.
- Collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on public service impact.
