Maintenance Helper Intern in Auburn, New York at Auburn Community Hospital

Position Summary

This hands-on position is designed to provide practical experience in landscape management and property maintenance. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment, while working alongside professional and experienced staff.

Responsibilities

Perform routine landscaping tasks including mowing, edging, trimming hedges, weeding flower beds, and pruning trees and shrubs.

Operate and maintain landscaping machinery safely, including push/riding mowers, weed-whackers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.

Keep walkways, parking lots, and recreational spaces clean by removing litter, raking leaves, and power washing exterior surfaces.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors.

Salary: $20.00/hour
