ABA Works is a clinician-owned, family-focused ABA provider serving the South Bay, Long Beach, and Greater Los Angeles communities. We provide high-quality ABA therapy, parent training, and social skills programs for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.

We are currently hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs), ABA Therapists, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for full-time positions or part-time positions with consistent schedules and reliable income—even when client cancellations occur.

Position Overview

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.

Services are primarily provided in our Lomita clinic, with opportunities to work in homes, schools, daycares, social skills groups, and community settings throughout the South Bay, Long Beach, and Los Angeles areas.

Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized ABA treatment programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Collect and record client data using Motivity and other electronic data collection systems.
  • Teach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
  • Support social skills groups and clinic-based activities.
  • Assist with parent coaching and caregiver support.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and monthly trainings.
  • Learn and implement proactive behavior support and de-escalation strategies.

Work Environment

Services are provided in our clinic, as well as in homes, schools, daycares, social skills groups, and community settings. Typical service hours are between 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM, with some home-based services extending to 7:30 PM.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in an educational, behavioral, therapeutic, caregiving, or related setting.
  • Passion for helping individuals with autism and developmental disabilities learn, grow, and succeed.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and all required pre-employment screenings.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including sitting on the floor, playing with children, and implementing behavior intervention strategies when needed.
