You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring internal teams and ensuring delivery of impactful, evidence-based medical communication solutions.

Lead and manage assigned client accounts within the medical publications and medical communications space, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Oversee day-to-day account operations, including project oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reconciliation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and external scientific or medical partners.
- Ensure alignment of deliverables with client objectives, disease areas, and scientific/marketing strategies.
- Coordinate internal teams and cross-functional resources to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts through proposals and presentations.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on account performance, financials, and growth opportunities.
- Lead or participate in client meetings, ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment.
- Mentor and manage account team members, supporting professional development and performance management.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in medical communications and a strong ability to manage complex client relationships in a scientific environment.
- 8–10+ years of experience in medical communications, publications, pharmaceutical marketing, or a related scientific agency setting.
- Proven experience in account management and leadership within a publications or medical communications agency.
- Strong understanding of scientific and medical concepts with the ability to quickly interpret technical information.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking for multiple projects or accounts.
- Demonstrated business development skills, including proposal writing and client pitching.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, client-driven environments.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in science or business is preferred.
