This role plays a key part in driving workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance across operational sites. You will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture through training, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as a central point for all safety-related activities, you will support managers and field teams in identifying risks, preventing incidents, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The position involves both proactive safety planning and reactive incident investigation, with a strong focus on data-driven analysis of safety trends. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with organizational safety frameworks and regulatory requirements. This is a highly field-oriented role where your contribution directly impacts employee well-being and operational excellence.
Lead and support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs across job sites, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and best practices while fostering a strong safety-first culture.
- Conduct safety committee meetings and document minutes, ensuring follow-up on action items and continuous improvement.
- Deliver safety training programs for new employees, supervisors, and field teams, including specialized safety topics.
- Maintain accurate reporting of all incidents, accidents, and near-misses involving employees, contractors, or public property.
- Assist in accident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify risks and improve site safety standards.
- Monitor safety performance metrics, analyze accident trends, and track progress against safety objectives.
- Support implementation of safety systems, disciplinary procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Promote awareness programs such as safe driving practices and other preventive safety initiatives.
The ideal candidate has foundational experience in safety management with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. You should be comfortable working in field environments and engaging with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance and behavioral change.
- Diploma or Degree with Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) is required.
- 2–5 years of experience in EHS, safety operations, or related field roles.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to conduct training and engage with teams at all levels.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and self-driven approach to safety management.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in basic computer tools.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple field sites effectively.
- Experience in industrial or infrastructure environments (e.g., elevator industry) is an advantage.
