  • Collaborate closely with operations, product, engineering, and implementation teams to improve tools, templates, automation processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Plan and execute payroll testing cycles, ensuring successful validation and reconciliation before production launch.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, documentation, and standard operating procedures to ensure smooth transitions into payroll operations.
  • Support implementation specialists and broader payroll teams through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and process guidance.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and implementation quality metrics to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and contribute to platform improvements and product enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in payroll operations, payroll implementation, or payroll consulting environments.
  • Strong expertise in country-specific payroll legislation and compliance requirements, particularly within Italy payroll environments.
  • Hands-on experience implementing payroll systems such as Zucchetti Paghe Infinity, including configuration, migrations, validation, and go-live activities.
  • Deep understanding of payroll foundations including accruals, year-to-date handling, tax structures, social contributions, and payroll reconciliation processes.
  • Experience managing complex onboarding projects, mid-year transitions, and parallel payroll runs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and priorities in remote environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency with payroll and reporting tools such as SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to communicate complex payroll and technical information clearly to both internal teams and customers.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and operations.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Comfortable working in asynchronous, international, and fast-paced remote environments.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Competitive salary package with compensation designed to support global pay equity and fairness.
  • Flexible working hours and asynchronous work culture promoting strong work-life balance.
