The Resident Services Assistant II assists residents who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight with medication distribution and refilling, vital sign checks, BG testing, and similar actions. They also support all daily living activities that residents are unable to perform without help, fostering at all times residents' independence and freedom of choice.
Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience - One year of health care experience with elderly preferred.
Other Requirement(s) - Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or qualified Home Care Aid Certification required. CPR/1st Aids, Food Handler Permit, Specialty training including Dementia and Mental Health training; Developmental Disability training, and nurse delegation training certificates are required or are willing to follow the WAC AL regulation to obtain these training certificates after hiring.
