Senior Business Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Analyst based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of innovative digital solutions within the insurance technology space.
The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key connection point between clients, product teams, and delivery specialists.
You will translate complex business needs into actionable requirements while helping ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Business Analyst will play a central role in gathering requirements, supporting solution delivery, and ensuring successful client implementations. This position requires close collaboration with customers and internal teams to analyze business needs, improve processes, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into clear specifications and actionable solutions for delivery and product teams.
  • Analyze customer data from core insurance systems, including policy administration, compensation, and agent management platforms.
  • Support integrations between customer systems and digital platforms by providing business and data analysis expertise.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure implementations meet customer expectations, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between customers and internal teams throughout implementation projects.
  • Develop and support quality assurance activities, including test planning and validation against business requirements.
  • Create training materials, documentation, and support resources to help customers successfully adopt solutions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations that improve delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis experience, customer-facing skills, and knowledge of insurance technology environments. They should be comfortable working with data, managing complex requirements, and collaborating across multiple teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in customer delivery, implementation, or client-facing roles.
  • Required experience within the life insurance and annuity industry.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze complex business needs and translate them into practical technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
