JOB SUMMARY:

The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field operations on flooring projects — multi-family and single-family new-construction rental communities — ensuring work is completed efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. This role involves coordinating field crews, working with internal departments, and maintaining quality control. The Field Supervisor will act as a key point of contact between crews in the field and management, ensuring seamless communication and operational success. This is a project-based engagement

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Supervise and support field crews, ensuring projects are completed according to specifications and deadlines
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate field employees to enhance performance and maintain quality standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to streamline operations and resolve challenges
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, employee performance, and safety incidents
  • Ensure proper use and care of any company-provided equipment on assigned job sites
  • Coordinate crew scheduling and resource needs to meet project timelines
  • Enforce safety standards, and industry regulations on job sites
  • Communicate updates, concerns, and solutions to leadership, providing recommendations for process improvements
  • Oversee field crews to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards on flooring installations, whether multi-family renovation or single-family new-construction projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within construction, restoration, or a related field
  • Ability to travel between Raleigh and Charlotte on a weekly basis
  • Strong understanding of job site operations, safety standards, and quality control
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate field teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and field management software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • This is a project-based engagement to support projects in Raleigh and Charlotte
