If you are mechanically inclined, good at math, enjoy working with your hands, and are interested in learning how CNC machines operate, this could be a great opportunity to begin a career in a machine shop.
During available time, the employee will also have the opportunity to learn basic CNC machine operation. Previous CNC or manufacturing experience is not required. We are willing to train someone who is dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
Type: Full-Time
Hours: 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus two five-hour Saturdays per month

Responsibilities:
- Deburr, clean, grind, and finish manufactured parts
- Clean machines, equipment, floors, and work areas
- Remove metal chips, scrap, oil, and other production debris
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop
- Assist with packaging, organizing parts, and general production work
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment
- Perform physical and sometimes dirty work throughout the facility
- Assist other departments and employees as needed
- Learn basic CNC machine operation during available production time
- Load materials and remove completed parts from machines
- Learn to use calipers, micrometers, and other basic measuring tools
- Complete basic quality checks and report concerns
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Willing to perform physical, repetitive, and sometimes dirty work
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions
- Willing to learn and assist wherever needed
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous shop, automotive, construction, landscaping, maintenance, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
