Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tuohy Furniture Corporation. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring optimal operation of machinery in a manufacturing facility. Work Schedule will be Monday through Thursday 5am to 3:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications:

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is Preferred.
