Job Description
Job Summary:
Enhances patient outcomes by supporting performance improvement activities. Responsible for systematic approach to collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data to support decision making. Compares performance and incorporates customer feedback to enable intense evaluation of patterns and trends. Collaborates with hospital managers, staff and teams to generate recommendations for improvement. Completes all office and clerical duties as required. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Assists in training other people in this role as needed. Works across programs, including primarily Gratitude and Next Step in completing any of the above and the following tasks. Coordinates aspects of referral source (and other treatment professional) communication, including sending discharge summaries, sending initial letters to referral sources for new admissions, obtaining releases and requesting prior patient records, sending weekly updates for professional referral sources (also for Women’s Center and IOP program) and documentation of all of these activities in EPIC. Serves as primary Kronos timekeeper. Coordinates and administers patient progress/outcome surveys. Maintains and updates daily patient rosters and census, including communication with staff. Completes monthly reports on admissions, discharges, inquires, etc. Create, organize, update, and maintain shared outlook calendars for coordination of scheduling and appointments for patient and staff activities. Coordinate and/or assist with coordination of patient appointments for individual (e.g., physician appointments, individual meetings with consultants) and family sessions. Manage purchase orders and keying invoices for vendors. Enter daily treatment charges in EPIC, as well as discharge patients in the residential database. Create weekly transportation schedules for outside appointments to send to Support Staff Supervisor and assist in coordination of off-campus activities. Manage (ordering, invoicing, etc.) all catered lunch or dinner orders with outside vendors. Order all office supplies/materials needed and coordinate invoices for requests for materials from other providers. Break down charts for sending to medical records. Generate help desk tickets for facilitate/maintenance needs.

Qualifications:
Education/Skills
High school diploma required.
Work Experience:
Administrative professional experience and computer skills preferred.
Mental Demands:
Exceptional oral and written skills are required to relate effectively to hospital and medical
staff. The individual must have the ability to type and be familiar with the rules of spelling,
grammar, and punctuation. The individual must have the ability to use a computer display
station, copier, telephone, personal computer, and calculator. Working knowledge of medical
terminology is necessary. The individual must have a high energy level and be capable of
handling pressure situations both mentally and physically.
