Job Description
We’re seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist (Float) to support our growing outpatient imaging centers. If you love combining cutting-edge technology with compassionate care—and enjoy the excitement of working across multiple locations—this is your opportunity.

As an MRI Technologist, you’ll perform high-quality MRI exams with precision, professionalism, and care:
Conduct thorough patient screenings and medical histories to ensure safety
Perform MRI scans using advanced protocols and equipment, adjusting technical factors for optimal image quality
Educate and guide patients through procedures, ensuring comfort and confidence
Safely administer contrast agents and monitor patients throughout exams
Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety, infection control, and sterile techniques
Troubleshoot equipment and software issues as they arise
Send images to PACS and ensure proper documentation and archiving
Assist with patient scheduling, documentation, and communication with referring physicians
Respond confidently in emergency situations, including initiating BLS if needed
Travel between imaging centers as part of your float role
Qualifications:
ARRT or AMRIT certification (required)
Active CPR certification
IV certification
Strong knowledge of MRI protocols, anatomy, and imaging techniques
Experience with PACS, RIS, and computer systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
