This is an opportunity for an experienced enterprise sales professional to drive strategic growth within a fast-moving SaaS environment. The Strategic Sales Director will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to executive engagement and closing complex, high-value deals. This role focuses on building relationships with senior decision-makers and helping organizations transform their customer engagement strategies through innovative technology solutions. You will operate as a trusted advisor, combining industry expertise, consultative selling skills, and technical knowledge to deliver measurable business impact. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help accelerate revenue growth while shaping the future success of a growing organization.
- Drive enterprise revenue growth by identifying, sourcing, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within targeted industries, including retail, digital publishing, gaming, travel, and hospitality.
- Own complex, consultative sales cycles and successfully close high-value SaaS agreements by aligning solutions with executive-level business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including marketing, technology, digital commerce, and customer experience leaders.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunities, and manage deal progression across enterprise accounts.
- Take a proactive hunter approach by generating new opportunities while leveraging marketing initiatives, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify internal champions, navigate complex buying processes, and deliver compelling value propositions that differentiate solutions in competitive markets.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and leadership teams to create effective sales strategies and ensure successful customer transitions.
- Apply strong technical selling skills to communicate solutions effectively across both business and technical audiences.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets through disciplined account planning, strategic execution, and customer-focused selling.
- 8+ years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions with a demonstrated history of sourcing and closing enterprise deals valued at $1M+.
- Experience selling within marketing technology, customer data platforms, personalization, email service platforms, or related SaaS industries is strongly preferred.
- Established network and experience engaging executives within B2C organizations, particularly across digital, ecommerce, marketing, and customer experience functions.
- Strategic and consultative sales approach with the ability to uncover business challenges and position solutions around measurable outcomes.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to lead conversations involving both business stakeholders and IT teams.
- Proven ability to generate pipeline independently, manage long sales cycles, and consistently exceed sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
- Curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of technology and market trends.
- Ability to work remotely while being based in the Mountain or West Coast time zones.
- Competitive annual salary range of $160,000 - $185,000, adjusted based on experience and location.
