Dovida supports people to live their life, their way at home. We are Irelands largest independent provider of home support.

A female wheelchair user in Santry is seeking a team of reliable, friendly, and proactive Personal Assistants (PAs) to support her to live an active, independent life. The morning shifts require an early start to support the person to get ready for work and study in Dublin City centre.

This is a meaningful role for people who enjoy helping another person thrive in their work, study, and social life. There is a live-in option available for one PA on the team.

About the Role

As part of the PA team, you will support the client with:

  • Personal care (training provided if needed)

  • Driving to work, study commitments, appointments, and social events
  • Supporting her participation in community and social activities, including GAA events
  • Collaborating with other PAs to ensure smooth, continuous support

Who Were Looking For

Ideal candidates are:

  • Physically fit to support client transfers
  • Confident drivers who enjoy driving in and out of Dublin City and beyond (in the clients car)
  • Positive, proactive, and supportive team players
  • Ideally interested in sports such as GAA
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable maintaining professional boundaries

Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
  • Willingness to assist with personal care
  • Ability to work as part of a coordinated support team
  • Friendly, supportive, and committed to empowering independence

Desirable

  • Experience working with physically disabled adults
  • Full QQI major award

Hours, Pay & Accommodation

  • A mix of daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
  • Training provided
  • Livein option available, offering a supportive home environment and reduced commuting for one PA
  • Fixed term contract available with guaranteed hours

If youre someone who values meaningful work and enjoys helping another person live life to the fullest, wed love to hear from you.
