About the role:

Working Monday to Friday, 7:30am4:00pm as part of our Wellington Facility Services team, as a HVAC Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities include:

Performing scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on HVAC systems across commercial and industrial sites

Conducting inspections, diagnostics and corrective work to maintain system reliability

Using hand and power tools safely and effectively for mechanical and refrigeration tasks

Completing work independently or as part of a team across various buildings and facilities

Following all health and safety procedures and contributing to a safe work environment

Providing professional, customerfocused service while representing the company on client sites

Being available for afterhours and emergency callouts on a rotating roster

Managing your own time effectively when working unsupervised to meet deadlines

About you:

This is an ideal opportunity for you to utilise or develop experience in:

HVAC and mechanical servicing across diverse commercial and industrial environments

Managing varied workloads and multitasking across maintenance tasks

Strengthening customer service capability in a servicebased environment

Building technical skills in refrigeration, mechanical systems and general facility maintenance

Preferred requirements:

A relevant trade qualification (desirable)

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the HVAC mechanical trade

Current NZ Class 1 driver licence

Experience using hand and power tools

Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

High level of selfmotivation and professional presentation

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Commitment to safe work practices and familiarity with OH&S guidelines

Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience working in a servicebased, customerfocused environment

Ability to adapt to changing environments, competing demands and unexpected events

Strong judgement, planning and reporting skills
