ROLE SUMMARYThe Crew Member for our Landscape Installation division is responsible for assisting with the installation of commercial landscape projects, including planting, irrigation, grading, sod installation, hardscape preparation, and other construction activities. This position works alongside the Crew Leader and installation team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to PureGreen quality standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, works well in a team environment, and wants opportunities for growth within the landscape construction industry.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESLandscape Installation Operations• Assist with commercial landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, sod, mulch, and other landscape materials
• Assist with irrigation installation, trenching, grading, site preparation, and landscape construction activities
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment from trucks and trailers
• Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices
• Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Help prepare materials and equipment needed for daily projects
• Assist with loading and securing equipment for transportation between job sites
• Work closely with Crew Leaders and fellow team members to complete projects efficiently
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with team members and customers
• Be dependable, punctual, and prepared to work each day
• Assist wherever needed to help the team meet daily production goals
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
• 1–2 years of landscape installation, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Flexibility to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform physical labor including bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, digging, and carrying materials throughout the workday
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
$16.50 – $20.00 per hour
