Concept Rehab is looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Cincinnati. In this role, you'll work directly with patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, and hospitalization, helping them rebuild strength, improve mobility, and achieve their highest level of function.

Requirements:

What You'll Do

  • Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
  • Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional performance
  • Support gait training, transfer training, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercise programs
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with supervising therapists
  • Encourage patient participation and motivation throughout the rehabilitation process
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, and family members
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques and home exercise recommendations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge preparation
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience and rehabilitation culture

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Ohio PTA license in good standing
  • Skilled nursing, geriatric, or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
