CNC Industries, a Kadon Company, is a leading aerospace manufacturer seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. We are looking for dependable machinists who take pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work holding as required.
- Set tool offsets and make machine adjustments to maintain part quality and production efficiency.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain tight tolerances while producing quality parts.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues as they arise.
- Accurately complete production and inspection documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company safety standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and team members to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of three (3) years of CNC milling experience preferred.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Understanding of GD&T and precision machining practices.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
- Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience machining aerospace components or other high-precision manufactured parts.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
