About the role
This role is 8 hours per week.
You will be responsible for delivering our retail experience and driving sales, which involves helping people understand our products and what's on offer; completing transactions and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. You'll also look after our board rental operation which will involve understanding the customers requirements and helping them choose the correct board to support these. You will also be involved in helping to maintain this equipment.
As a Retail Team Member, you'll need to be flexible with your schedule. our resort operates seven days a week, and early morning, late evening and weekend work will be required. Your commitment to the ensuring the resort's smooth operation during peak times is essential, and appreciated.
What you'll do
- Deliver the day to day Retail and Rental strategy in the Lost Shore Surf Shop.
- Play an active part of the team, helping to look after your colleagues and customers alike.
- You will deliver a top class visitor experience in the Lost Shore Shop. This will involve stock management, visual merchandising, and helping to maintain a safe, clean shop floor.
- This role reports to the Retail Manager
Skills and Qualifications
You should have experience withing a high-volume retail or customer facing environment, with knowledge of surfing equipment and products. We are willing to provide training for the right candidate, but a passion for surfing is non-negotiable!

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build genuine connections and consistently deliver a warm, customer focussed service.
