Description:
The Corporate Team Building Facilitator will play a key role in the facilitation and delivery of the organization’s corporate volunteer bike build program, helping create meaningful experiences where corporate teams assemble bicycles that are donated to children and community organizations. This role is responsible for facilitating engaging team-building events that foster collaboration, communication, and connection. The Corporate Team Building Facilitator creates an energetic and inclusive environment, ensures events run smoothly, and delivers memorable experiences that align with the organization’s mission and client expectations.
Event Facilitation
- Facilitate engaging team-building experiences for corporate clients, guiding participants from event introductions through conclusion.
- Foster an energetic, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages collaboration, communication, and participation among groups of varying sizes.
- Deliver clear instructions and demonstrations while adapting facilitation style, activities, and pacing to accommodate participant needs, group dynamics, and event timelines.
- Lead post-event discussions that connect the experience to key workplace concepts such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational values.
- Monitor event flow to ensure activities remain on schedule while maintaining a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Event Operations
- Set up and break down event materials, tools, equipment, and workstations before and after each event.
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure all tools, equipment, and safety supplies are maintained, accounted for, and in good working condition.
- Represent the organization professionally while building positive relationships with clients, participants, volunteers, vendors, and community partners.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of team-building programs and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least one (1) year of experience facilitating groups, presenting, leading activities, or working in customer-facing event, education, recreation, or similar environments.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage and lead groups of diverse participants.
- Ability to communicate clear, concise instructions to individuals with varying levels of experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and event needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel frequently to off-site client locations.
- Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office Software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
