As Senior Cardiologist, you will provide scientific and medical leadership across cardiac safety, cardiac efficacy, and digital physiology solutions supporting clinical research. You will serve as a trusted cardiology expert for pharmaceutical sponsors, internal teams, and external stakeholders. The role combines clinical expertise with consulting, endpoint development, regulatory strategy, and scientific innovation. You will contribute to global clinical programs and help shape approaches to cardiac safety and efficacy throughout drug development. Your work will support high-quality evidence generation and informed regulatory decision-making. • Provide cardiology expertise to pharmaceutical sponsors across consulting engagements, including protocol design, cardiac safety and efficacy strategies, statistical analysis plans, expert reports, and regulatory representation.
• Serve as a cardiology liaison across internal functions, supporting cardiologist activities, cardiac solutions, safety consulting, compliance strategies, and related medical initiatives.
• Provide clinical consulting for digital physiology and other specialized endpoints, supporting cross-functional opportunities and therapeutic-area strategies.
• Participate in discussions with prospective and existing clients regarding clinical studies requiring cardiac safety or efficacy expertise.
• Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cardiology policies, procedures, SOPs, review guidelines, and approaches for emerging digital physiology endpoints.
• Monitor advances in cardiac safety, cardiac efficacy, electrocardiography, and related scientific fields and share relevant developments with internal stakeholders.
• Support the generation and interpretation of endpoint data from ECGs, Holters, patch devices, stress tests, blood pressure variability assessments, and other cardiac measures, including quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Contribute to the improvement of ECG core laboratory procedures, with a focus on interpretation quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Provide scientific and clinical expertise to support commercial and business-development activities when required.
• Contribute to the development and validation of clinical systems and technology platforms used to support cardiac and digital physiology programs.
• Participate in scientific meetings, research collaborations, and interactions with regulatory authorities.
• Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise in statistical innovation and research, contributing to sponsor discussions around statistical design, analysis, and broader clinical development strategies.

• MD degree is required.
• ABIM Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease is required; Canada-based candidates with active U.S. board certification are encouraged to apply.
• Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training is preferred.
• At least 3 years of pharmaceutical-industry experience as an employed cardiologist or consultant, particularly within early-phase drug development.
• 5+ years of clinical cardiology and electrocardiography experience is preferred.
• Prior experience working directly with or consulting for pharmaceutical sponsors.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac safety and efficacy principles, with familiarity with ICH E14 guidance preferred.
• Experience with concentration-effect modeling is preferred.
• Experience preparing or authoring reports supporting QT waivers is desirable.
• Working knowledge of clinical pharmacology is an advantage.
• Strong ability to interpret and assess cardiac endpoint data, including ECG and related physiological measurements.
• Excellent scientific, medical, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmaceutical sponsors, clinicians, scientists, statisticians, regulatory stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
