Lead the Team. Run the Restaurant. Grow the Business.Marco’s Pizza is looking for a driven, experienced, and people-focused General Manager – Restaurant Leader to lead one of our restaurants.
The General Manager – Restaurant Leader is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands that great restaurants are built by great teams, strong standards, and consistent execution.
You’ll be responsible for leading your team, serving your customers, controlling costs, maintaining standards, and driving the restaurant toward its goals.
📍 RelocationCandidates must be willing to relocate to one of our Marco’s Pizza locations within the South Carolina Low Country or Southeast Georgia area.
Relocation may be required based on business needs and available opportunities. Candidates should be comfortable relocating to the location where their leadership skills are needed.
💰 Compensation & BenefitsBase pay starts at $900 per week
Minimum 45-hour workweek
13 Period Performance Bonuses
Bonuses are paid and based on the restaurant meeting established performance & metrics every period.
Compensation may increase based on experience, availability, performance, and overall responsibilities
Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO)
Travel expenses reimbursed when travel is required for business
Cell phone allowance of up to $50 per month, when applicable

Recruit, interview, hire, and develop team members
Build and maintain a strong restaurant team
Train and coach team members and leaders
Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable
Recognize and reward great performance
Address performance issues quickly and professionally
Develop Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers
Create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented culture
Lead by example every day
You are responsible for helping your restaurant grow.
Drive sales and customer traffic
Execute company promotions and marketing initiatives
Identify opportunities to increase sales
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance
Understand restaurant reports and key performance indicators
Set goals with your team and follow up on results
Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
Great managers know how to run a profitable restaurant.
Manage labor according to sales and business needs
Build effective schedules
Monitor labor performance
Control food and paper costs
Reduce waste and unnecessary expenses
Maintain proper inventory levels
Protect company assets
Follow cash-handling and financial-control procedures
Ensure every product meets Marco’s standards
Maintain proper portioning and preparation
Ensure orders are accurate and complete
Monitor ticket times and speed of service
Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards
Ensure equipment and work areas are properly maintained
Complete and follow all operational checklists
Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and ready for customers
Create an environment where customers feel welcome
Ensure friendly, fast, and professional service
Handle customer concerns and find appropriate solutions
Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
Build a team that understands the importance of every customer interaction
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous restaurant management experience
Has a strong understanding of restaurant operations
Can lead, coach, and develop people
Understands labor and cost control
Has strong communication and organizational skills
Is dependable and accountable
Can make decisions confidently
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Is willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Takes ownership of the restaurant and its results
Is willing to relocate within the South Carolina Low Country or Southeast Georgia area as needed
Can commit to a minimum of 45 hours per week
Availability matters. We’re looking for leaders who can provide the level of availability and flexibility necessary to successfully operate a restaurant.
