What You’ll Do (Essential Job Functions):

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting hydrogen and vacuum furnaces, overhead cranes, DI tanks, forklifts, etc. This role will perform repairs on machinery and other equipment as required. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values is key to success in this position. Essential job functions for this role include:

  • Inspect overhead cranes.
  • Inspect DI (deionized) tanks.
  • Inspect forklifts in accordance with the required inspection checklist.
  • Inspect pressure gauges.
  • Check water pressure throughout the facility and equipment.
  • Inspect and test heating elements.
  • Inspect and maintain cooling systems.
  • Perform hydrogen sensor calibration.
  • Calibrate hydrogen sensors.
  • Inspect equipment for faults, leaks, and potential issues.
  • Check oil levels on all pumps.
  • Monitor and record water temperatures.
  • Verify proper water pressure.
  • Perform repairs on machinery and other equipment as required.
  • Maintain the shop in compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Assist management with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Install, replace, and inspect shop lighting.
  • Maintain and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Uphold the company's core values in all aspects of work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Basic knowledge of electricity
  • Repair knowledge of related machinery and equipment

Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a facilities technician
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide appropriate documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility as required by applicable law.
  • Must qualify as a “U.S.” Persons as defined in 22 CFR § 120.62 under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in order to comply with applicable export control laws and regulations.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug screening in accordance with the Company’s drug testing policy and applicable law.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check in accordance with the Company’s screening policy and applicable law.

Pay range: $ 26.00 - $ 29.00 based on qualifications and experience.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

The manufacturing facility may expose workers to loud noises, chemicals, and other occupational hazards; personal protective equipment is provided by The Company.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Information:
This is a full time, permanent position. This position is eligible for the employer-sponsored benefits listed under "What Awaits." This position is considered non-exempt, eligible for overtime pay (paid on an hourly basis)
