Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Electrical Field Technician role involves a mix of scheduled electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment. This position is well-suited for a Red Seal Electrician. You will be responsible for identifying electrical issues, diagnosing faults, and supporting timely resolution of client concerns.. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Travel to a variety of customer sites across multiple industries to perform planned electrical maintenance and respond to service calls;Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, or coordinate electrical repairs as needed;Participate in the on-call rotation as required;Maintain a high standard of customer communication by setting clear expectations and providing updates throughout each job;Support and execute electrical equipment installations, including start-up, commissioning, pre-start inspections, and handover to the client;Collaborate with and coordinate third-party vendors and contractors as required for electrical work;Perform preventative electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in a safe and efficient manner to minimize downtime;Work with panels, motors, drives, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, and associated electrical components.
