We are seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to join our team at a beautiful 294-unit Class A luxury apartment community in Lithia Springs, Georgia.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with residents, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the operational success of a premier community.
What You'll DoAs the Assistant Community Manager, you'll partner closely with the Community Manager to ensure the day-to-day operations of the community run smoothly. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with all financial operations including rent collections, delinquency management, resident ledger accuracy, and reporting
- Support leasing efforts by delivering an exceptional resident experience from first impression through move-in
- Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents while providing outstanding customer service
- Process resident applications, lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
- Help maintain occupancy goals through resident retention and renewal initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and property procedures
- Assist with vendor coordination, resident communications, and administrative functions
- Partner with the maintenance team to ensure timely resolution of resident service requests
- Serve as Manager on Duty when the Community Manager is unavailable
- Minimum of 2 years of multifamily property management experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager preferred
- Strong understanding of rent collections, delinquency management, and resident accounting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (Entrata experience is a plus)
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
