Job Summary
The CNC operator is responsible for setting up and operating Swiss Screw machines, interpreting blueprints and specifications, monitoring production, and performing quality inspections to ensure finished products meet required standards. Requires manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings and work independently.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding and
milling, etc.
· Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
· Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
· Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines.
· Set up and run first pieces to verify that the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
· Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
· Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
Requirements:Requirements
· Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting.
· Must have strong attention to detail.
· Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
· Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
· Open to learning as well as teaching with a positive work ethic.
