Job Summary:

Paychex Test Client is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to our clients in a timely and professional manner, ensuring top-notch customer service. This role requires an individual with strong organizational skills, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any delivery-related inquiries.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
Keep accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues or discrepancies to management.
Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles, as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to deliveries.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required.
Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes is a plus.
Working Conditions:

This position involves driving for extended periods and may require lifting and carrying heavy items.
Flexible schedule with potential for evening and weekend shifts.
