$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
Must meet performance goals and measurements. Pay-out over 6 month period.
Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform preventative maintenance (PM) on a variety of equipment types and perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without supervision. In addition to this, employees should be attentive and able to consistently operate in an efficient manner.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure safety and compliance by conducting DOT inspections on tractors and trailers
Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, and other equipment
Based on checklist, evaluates equipment and makes recommendations for improvements and/or takes preventative maintenance action
Conducts yard checks with attention to detail
Ability to inspect and adjust brakes
Ability to recognize and handle cosmetic deficiencies as needed
Ability to drive tractor and trailer on private property (no CDL required)
Occasional off-site preventative maintenance at unit locations (infrequent)
Skills & Qualifications
Basic computer skills
Ability to recognize potential and/or existing defects / malfunctions
Able to meet all physical demands
Education & Experience
High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent.
HVAC certification and some similar industry experience.
