This role sits within a high-impact corporate development and strategy team focused on driving growth through acquisitions and strategic investments. You will support end-to-end M&A execution, from opportunity identification and evaluation through diligence, valuation, and closing. The position involves close collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across finance, legal, tax, and operations. You will help shape investment theses, build financial models, and assess strategic fit across new and adjacent markets. The environment is fast-paced, analytical, and highly collaborative, requiring strong attention to detail and business judgment. - Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic acquisition and investment opportunities aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Support full M&A lifecycle execution, including coordination of diligence activities with legal, accounting, tax, and external advisors.
- Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation work, including comparable company analysis, DCF, accretion/dilution, and scenario modeling.
- Lead and contribute to commercial, operational, and financial due diligence workstreams with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare executive- and board-level materials, including investment memos, strategic analyses, and transaction summaries.
- Manage deal execution infrastructure such as data rooms, diligence trackers, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
- Perform market, competitive, and strategic analyses, including TAM assessments, whitespace identification, and buy-versus-build evaluations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or related transactional roles.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with hands-on experience in M&A processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive-level insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for modeling and presentation development.
- Strong business judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, payer/provider ecosystems, or healthcare analytics; exposure to deal sourcing or pipeline management; MBA/MPH/MHA (optional).
- Competitive base salary ranging from $95,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
