Job Description
Storage Tank Welders
RESPONSIBILITIES:
$30 - $34 an hour
Are you a skilled welder who loves the road and takes pride in a job well done? Tanco Engineering is looking for dedicated Storage Tank Welders to join our traveling crews. REQUIREMENTS:- 1+ year(s) experience in welding tanks
- Must pass the following weld tests:
- SMAW 2G, 3G, & 4G
- FCAW 2G, 3G, & 4G
- Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening
- TWIC card may be required
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have excellent attendance and show up to work on time every day
- Utilize your welding skills to ensure the structural integrity of storage tanks through various techniques like stick and flux core welding
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure your welding tasks meet all specifications
- Inspect your work for quality control, promptly addressing any issues you may uncover
- Work alongside your team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Maintain a safe work enviroment by following all safety protocols
- Keep your welding equipment in top shape with routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
PAY & BENEFITS
- Base pay range $30-$34
- $125/day subsistence
- Medical, dental, and vision
- ESOP & 401k
This position is a traveling position, requiring flexibility to work anywhere within the United States. We are seeking qualified candidates nationwide who thrive in a collaborative, traveling environment and are motivated to contribute to a dynamic and growing team.
