Inside Sales Representative in Duncansville, Pennsylvania at Imler's Poultry

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, generating sales, taking customer orders, and identifying opportunities to increase business. This position requires strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

• Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Take incoming customer calls and accurately enter orders.
• Contact existing customers to generate additional sales and identify product needs.
• Promote available products, specials, and new items.
• Follow up with customers regarding orders, product availability, and sales opportunities.
• Develop new customer accounts and assist with growing existing accounts.
• Accurately enter and maintain customer and order information.
• Communicate with warehouse, purchasing, transportation, and other departments regarding customer needs and orders.
• Resolve customer questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Meet established sales and performance expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of company products, pricing, promotions, and availability.
• Complete required sales paperwork and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls and speaking with customers by phone.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to learn company products and effectively communicate product information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the overall sales team.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour plus commission

Commission is earned in accordance with the company's established commission structure and eligibility requirements.
