Position Description:

Class A CDL Driver – Local (Nashville) Home Daily | Monday–Saturday Schedule

Location: Terminal at 436 Enos Reed Drive, Nashville, TN Job Type: Full-time, Local Pay: $29.02 per hour base + $5.36 fringe pay (up to 40 hours per week)

Position Overview

We are hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a local position based at our Nashville terminal. Drivers will operate 53-ft dry van trailers and return home daily. Both AM and PM shifts are available. Equipment is late model (2023 or newer).

Schedule

• Days: Monday through Saturday

• Home Time: Daily

• Shifts: AM and PM schedules available

Compensation

• Base Rate: $29.02 per hour

• Fringe Pay: Additional $5.36 per hour (up to 40 hours paid per week)

Equipment

• Assigned trucks: 2023 or newer

• Trailers: 53-ft dry vans

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL experience

• No preventable accidents

• Clean driving record

• No felonies or misdemeanors

• Must pass USPS background check

• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

• Current DOT medical card

Currently seeking a competent individual to fill an open US Mail Class A driver at our Cookeville/Crossville terminal. The driver in this position will be based in our Cookeville/Crossville, TN terminal, 34-hour resets will be at home.

Requirements:

• 2 Years Minimum OTR Experience/ Class A License

• No Accidents in the Previous 3 years

• No at Fault Accidents in Previous 5 Years

• No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years.

• No DUIs in the Previous 7 years

Job Responsibilities:

Operate company-owned/leased trucks to facilitate the movement of US Mail operations and Freight operations.

Operate company-owned/leased trucks for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of US Mail.

Driver will be required to load and unload the mail off the trailer.

Perform required before, during, and after-operation inspections on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to shop personnel; clean equipment and required reports.

Provide outstanding customer service during the delivery and pickup operations of US Mail and Freight.

Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.

Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you.

Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
